There are some things that were explicitly left out of the scope of this theme (for now). While they could be added someday, you should plan on adding them a different way if you plan to use our theme in the near future.
Statistics
This theme does not track statistics for your team members, or per play statistics. It does allow you to enter Wins, Losses, and Ties and keep your team record. However, that is the extent of the stats.
Multiple Teams/Leagues
The theme was designed for a single team. See this F.A.Q. question for one way to consider using WordPress multisite to accomplish this.
Advertising
While we may add this in the future, currently this is not included. There are many ways to add advertising to a WordPress site, feel free to search the WordPress website for advertising plugins.
Membership/Private Access
This theme doesn’t add any functionality to make a members-only website. However, WordPress itself has the ability to make pages password protected, and there are many plugins in the repository that add Membership capability. Not all of them have been tested with Sports Team Theme.
In-team Communications
This theme is mostly public facing. It does not add newsletter or messaging functionality to WordPress. There are also some existing plugins that you can install into WordPress that help with these things.
Accept Registrations
The theme provides a way to store your Roster, but doesn’t necessarily provide a form for people to sign up. Something like this would certainly be possible using a plugin like Gravity Forms, or with a little custom development.
